Refrigerator Disposal in Layton & Other Common Questions

Does it have to be working?

No. Broken, leaking, rusted, hasn't run since 2009 — doesn't matter. We haul it either way, same price.

Do I need to disconnect it first?

Yes, please. Appliances need to be unhooked before we arrive — water lines shut off and disconnected, gas shut off, and the unit unplugged. We do the lifting and the hauling; the disconnecting is on you or your plumber.

Can you take it from upstairs or the basement?

Yes. Basements and upstairs rooms are no problem. Where it can cost extra is a carry down two or more flights of stairs, or an unusually heavy item — either may add a fee depending on what it is. Mention it when you book and we'll quote it up front, so there's no surprise at the door.

Do you take commercial or property-manager jobs?

Yes. Turnovers, evictions, remodels, and multi-unit cleanouts are welcome. Multiple units are priced the same way: $149 for the first appliance and $39 for each one after that on the same trip. Send a list and we'll confirm a total before we roll.

    What happens to the appliances?

Reused or recycled wherever possible. Anything still usable gets passed along, scrap metal goes to a recycler, and refrigerant is handled properly. Nothing goes to the landfill that doesn't have to.

    How fast can you come?

Usually within a week. We'll text you back within one business day to confirm a day and a pickup window — and if you're in a hurry, say so and we'll do what we can to get there sooner.
